Does Propecia Generic Causes Weight Gain?

Q: Recently i start using Propecia meds to cure hair loss. And i'm intereted is it true that this drug may cause weight gain becuse of the things like testosterone and DHT promotes fat loss in the body.

    nice information! but in some other cases hair healing toxic chemicals are really have some side effects after extent use but in other side natural hair care products are chemical free.

    Finasteride (marketed as Proscar, Propecia, Fincar, Finpecia, Finax, Fincover, Finast, Finara, Finalo, Prosteride, Gefina, Appecia, Finasterid IVAX, Finasterid Alternova, Hyplafin, Penester, Finpros, Tectum, Prezepa) is a synthetic antiandrogen that acts by inhibiting type II 5-alpha reductase, the enzyme that converts testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT). Finasteride was initially approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 1992 under the brand name Proscar, a treatment for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). In 1997, the FDA approved finasteride to treat male pattern baldness (MPB), under the brand name Propecia.

    Finasteride is used in the treatment of prostate cancer, benign prostatic hyperplasia, and androgenetic alopecia (male pattern baldness).

    All drugs (Medicines) are toxic to some extent. they are prescribed by determining their half life period ( time taken for half of the medicine to get eliminated from the blood stream). if it is not working for you better consult your doctor.
